FAQ
How do you ensure the health and well-being of the pets in your adoption program?
At Cats Protection Hendon & Finchley Mill Charity Shop, we prioritize the health and well-being of every pet in our adoption program. Our team of experienced staff and volunteers provide regular veterinary check-ups, proper nutrition, and a comfortable living environment for all our pets. We also ensure that every pet is fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped before they are adopted into their forever homes. What is the adoption process?
Our adoption process involves a thorough assessment of potential adopters to ensure that they can provide a safe and loving home for our pets. This includes a home check, a review of the adopter's lifestyle and living situation, and an interview to determine their suitability as a pet owner. Once approved, adopters can choose their new pet from our selection and take them home. What kind of support and resources do you provide to new pet owners?
We provide extensive support and resources to new pet owners, including advice on pet care, behavior training, and health maintenance. We also offer a range of pet supplies and products at our charity shop, as well as access to our network of veterinary professionals and trainers. Our goal is to ensure that every pet and their owner have a happy and fulfilling life together. What is your policy on returning adopted pets?
While we strive to ensure that every adoption is successful, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If an adopter is unable to care for their pet, we ask that they contact us immediately to discuss the situation. We will work with the adopter to find a suitable solution, which may include returning the pet to our care. Our priority is always the well-being of our pets. Can you provide references or testimonials from satisfied adopters?
Absolutely! We have many satisfied adopters who have provided positive feedback about their experience with us. We can provide references and testimonials upon request, and we encourage potential adopters to read our reviews on social media and other online platforms. We are proud of our reputation as a caring and responsible pet adoption service, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of pet care and advocacy.Reviews

What a lovely shop! Always so clean and organised unlike other in the area! The manager (Wendy I believe she said her name was) often appears to be working alone here yet she manages to make herself available to her customers! Good on you!

Ok prices, quiet shop and nice enough. Dresses seemed mostly around £8 and up, so not particularly cheap.

I love this tidy little shop. Even the back room, where they keep items donated by the public is tidy and organised. The staff is always polite and friendly. They are always grateful when I donate something. It makes me happy to see people who care so much for animals. My cat is a CP cat so this shop means even more to me. I just hope they will survive the lockdown. It would be a big loss for cats and this area.

I arranged for a few boxes of nice crockery to be dropped off at this charity shop. My driver found her the lady to be very rude and unappreciative. I know not to take them there the next time.
