I had a voucher for Christmas and had no idea what to expect. Fabulous fun afternoon making beads. Cat was a great tutor. I am delighted with what I achieved.

I was initially slightly fraught about the complexity of the process but Cat broke it down into very manageable stages so that with each bead I learnt additional skills. The three hours flew by and I am delighted with my beads. Cat warned me that I might find working with glass addictive - she was right, I'm hooked! And she's an excellent teacher!!

I love Frith glassware - the colours are sumptuous and I've been wanting to buy something for ages (but it's so hard to choose just one piece). I finally succumbed, a gorgeous two-tone pourer. It arrived promptly, carefully packaged, and I'm absolutely delighted with it. Thankyou!

I received a gift voucher from my daughters for a bead making class with Cat. Never having expressed a desire or shown interest in doing such a course I wondered what I was letting myself in for. I needn't have worried. With the patience of a saint Cat guided me through various techniques which enabled me to produce a number of different glass beads which I am very pleased with and will be able to show off in a necklace or bracelet. It was a very enlightening and enjoyable morning. Thank you Cat Brenda

I visited Cat last year to see her studio and to get a look at how she comes up with such brilliant designs. I couldn't possibly leave without taking a mint Drizzle Vase along with me, and it's by far the strongest and most beautiful piece I've ever held. As soon as I got home I just had to take a photograph of it so I could share it with everyone else. Very highly recommended.

Jug has arrived safe & sound today. I'm absolutely thrilled to bits with it - it is a lovely colour & weight & fits well in my hand which is rather small but has short & stubby fingers!! Thanks again for a fabulous piece of work

I surprised my girlfriend with a birthday present of a trip to Bristol and a glass-bead making course with Cat, which was a fantastic experience I would definitely recommend to others! Right from the moment I contacted Cat asking about the content of the beginners course, how suitable it would be for us, which dates she was available etc. she was so friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to shift the dates back due to unforeseen circumstances. We were treated to a brilliant 6 hours of bead making, starting with familiarisation with the glass rods, the torch and other basic techniques and before lunch we had even made our own beads. Cat is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced but also very patient and made it a thoroughly enjoyable day for both of us! The beads look amazing but the experience itself surpassed all expectations. Thanks Cat!
