Utterly delighted to have stumbled across this place. Cleveland St has always had interesting and slightly hidden spots, and Catalina’a is a great addition. Cozy, with a welcoming atmosphere; the servers seemed to know all the arriving diners as they greeted them, which is always a good sign on your first visit. The guacamole is superb, the tacos very tasty: we went for carnitas and brisket carne each, sharing a prawn quesadilla, which is a great introduction to the menu. Cocktails were absolutely perfect - I recommend the Mexican ranch water - and boozy ice cream (as sold by the server) very boozy. By the time we left the restaurant full and buzzing with diners and regulars, so we were lucky to get a table. A nice little side note is the ‘Doggy Dinning’, which is also offered and cooked on site; with a menu and full 3 course option for your four legged food critique. All in all very impressed

Can't even begin to describe how much of a delight this Catalina's was. The food was somehow humble and sublime that combined simple and unpretentious elements with high quality ingredients and exceptional flavours. I loved everything about this place, what an absolute gem of a restaurant.

A new gem in the london dining scene for Mexican food! This is a really fun place and the interiors are so authentic you'd almost think you were in a hole in the wall in Mexico! The drinks are also great and I loved their selection of margaritas which all tasted outstanding. The food was also superb with the standouts being the nachos, tacos and enchiladas! Great value for money Love this place will be back!

Very very very expensive. Small portions, total lack of flavour. Very friendly host however, but doesn't make up for the food. Would prefer to support independent restaurants but in this case you are going to get better Mexican food from a chain
