  I am so glad I chose Castles to sell my flat and highly recommend that you pick them if you're considering selling your property. They were honest, quick to respond and extremely helpful. They constantly chased the solicitors and made sure things were moving forward at a good pace. I was in the middle of a chain and without their help I would've probably just given up. Special shout out to Josh! Ela and Ali were amazing too. The icing on the cake was that their commission was literally thousands of pounds less than the other "well known" agencies.

  Castles were exceptional every step of the way in my home purchase, even though I had to pull out in the end due to major issues with solicitors on both sides. Ela was always responsive and positive, and extremely helpful in negotiating with the vendors, getting me access to the property when showing surveyors and builders, communicating with solicitors (despite them being very unresponsive) and giving insights on the steps of the buying process. Josh was always on hand to step in for major points like price renegotiation and gave a balanced and fair view of things to both sides. Overall, I would certainly recommend Castles and it is a shame things didn’t work out in my particular case.

  We had a long, drawn-out buying process, including one failed purchase. Josh was utterly brilliant from start to finish, offering massive amounts of support, guidance and empathy every step of the way. He's quick, efficient, attentive, diplomatic and knowledgeable, and looked after us amazingly through our second attempt at buying - which was successful, all thanks to him. His team stepped in when he was unavailable or more support was needed. Really couldn't recommend Castles enough, we're hugely grateful to everyone!

  We cannot recommend Castles (Hackney) enough. The support we received from the team was simply outstanding. Due to issues with our buyer’s solicitor a lot of things went wrong and the whole exchange and completion process turned into an absolute nightmare. Ela Yildiz, who looked after our sale, went out of her way to liaise with our buyer and her solicitor, to talk to the agents in the chain and to try find solutions to help move things forward. She always kept us up to date and it took a lot of her time. We were still facing issues with solicitors a day before completion and we were really struggling to keep our calm but Ela’s kindness and professionalism really helped us go through all of it. If it was not for her I honestly don’t know if we would have completed at all.

I got in touch with them as there were a few issues and Ela was so helpful and even though I wasn’t her client she helped me and kept me updated throughout the sale process.   I purchased my first home through Castles this year, the process was a long one due to issues with the seller but Josh and the team were excellent, keeping me informed and did everything they could to push the sale along.   I bought a flat which was managed by Castles. Initially I was really impressed - David and Ela went above and beyond to make me feel looked after, and I felt like I was in safe hands. I think it feels like a seller's world when you're buying, but I felt assured that David and Ela had my interests at heart, too. However, about 2 weeks before my exchange / completion date (same day, quite stressful!) David left without notice to me. I had been promised certain things in the sale which were then not upheld after David left. Because the timings were so tight to move out of my rented property and into my flat the process became incredibly stressful, and I went from feeling in safe hands to feeling on my own in the process. The comms didn't feel particularly nice, I became quite upset, and it all felt more stressful than it necessarily needed to be. I think more responsibility should have been taken for the things I was promised, but instead I felt like there was a real shift in how everything was being managed. I know the team worked hard to get everything through and I thank them for that. However, due to the change of staffing so close to my move date (which I don't think was handled all that well), my experience wasn't great.
