The room was ok, although there were water stains on the ceiling and wall whére the shower above had leaked . The worst point was the constant traffic noise as it was on a main road. Double glazing would help greatly. Not the place to go if you want a good night's sleep

I stayed there for a week and it was fine, but of the wallpaper was coming off, there wasn’t anyway of cooking anything, and the bed was two single mattresses pushed together. Not the best but it’s cheap and ok

Me and my friends and daughters stayed there for the night for my daughters 18th birthday the lady was lovely even went out and brought my daughter chocolates and wine for her birthday price is really good has well had a lovely stay will definitely be going back there Rooms: Our rooms were all well cleaned and lovely Nearby activities: There were shops and busses and not to long to get to food Safety: Good Walkability: About 5 mins walk

What a horrible hotel I paid upfront and stayed two night with no heating. Rooms were freezing and when I called them they didn’t do anything about it.. would never go back and Advise people to look for another options

STAY AWAY! They have a very sophisticated SCAM. Check for the smoke alarm being covered up with white tape, they will then charge you £250 for calling out a workman to take it off (supposedly) claiming that you covered it up!

The hotel is in a great location. Right in the town centre. That us the only good thing I can say about Castleview. The customer service was terrible. Staff were rude and unhelpful. The rooms were cold due to them not putting on any heating unless you actually call them to say that you're sat there shivering in your coat. The beds desperately need replacing, I slept in a ditch in the bed, with springs poking in to every bone. Went home with aching muscles and very poor sleep. All in all, i donner recommend to anyone. Worse place I have ever stayed.
