    Cashew Catering delivered impeccable vegan food, and fantastic drinks reception service, at our wedding at Lambeth Town Hall in April 2023. This was a complicated menu, incorporating canapés and fizz for drinks reception, two soups, two mains, petits fours and teas/coffees, serving wine, as well as an evening food menu (including homemade tea bread and patties), with 140 day guests and a total of 160 evening guests. We wish we could go back and eat all our wedding food again! We are both really into our food, and knew this would be a central part of our day - and that we needed someone who really understands good vegan food. We initially approached John with a menu that offered dishes to celebrate our combined heritages, “veganified”, and John rose to the challenge with aplomb. He worked with us on the menus, with John providing excellent suggestions and accommodating all of our requests, and took on our feedback throughout so that every dish was perfect. John also provided continuous support and advice in the months ahead of the wedding - joining us for site visits, catering to guest dietary preferences, talking through scheduling and logistics, and keeping us all calm & excited for the big day! The service on the day was flawless - John and the team ensured everyone was fed and had drinks filled, and the feedback from guests has been overwhelmingly positive (many of whom were in panic about a fully vegan menu) about the food and John's team. We were so glad to have John and team there on the day. We would heartily recommend Cashew Catering to anyone who wants to impress their guests at their event with food that looks and tastes amazing, and we genuinely enjoyed chatting to John about all things Lewes, ice hockey and delicious vegan creations!

    These guys catered for my garden wedding. The food was awesome, not a bit was left, the blue cheese dip and handmade nachos were the hit of the night. From the get go the team were great and biddable to what we wanted. It arrived on time and was all gone 20 minutes later.

    John & Caroline catered our wedding last weekend for over 100 people. The food was delicious and the team so friendly. They also made our cake for us which was beautiful, and even included a vegan layer! They also successfully dealt with a wide range of allergens that our guests had, including severe nuts, coeliac, soya and many vegans which made the day much easier. Would definitely recommend them for anyone (and already have to our friends!)

    Cashew catering catered for our wedding day on 28th May - it was amazing food, so much so when they were mentioned in the speeches everyone cheered ad stomped. John was wonderful to work with throughout the process of booking and was very patient putting up with last minute changes and requirements. We are both vegan and had some vegan guests but not many so the pressure was really on, but it was a huge success - so much so I only managed to get one canape as everyone scoffed them all!! The team on the day also did a great job and were extremely polite and professional throughout.
