Carvers hold my mother’s will set up nearly 30 years ago under Eyre & Co. I have contacted them multiple times to no avail. Tried to obtain advice about power of attorney BEFORE my mother died. Told them ON THE DAY she passed away have since twice contacted about collecting my mother’s will. Nearly a month since she died. Nothing. They are pleasant enough, but they do not respond or contact you in response to queries. They blame staff shortages. Based on my experience, I only need a very simple service but poor service here is holding back my 16 week probate claim. I would advise strongly against using the company to manage any life-critical or urgent processes.
