Honestly can't even explain how bad the service here is as I've never experienced this before. Then to top that off prices are ridiculous £2 for a 65p at most bottle of ice Valley water £2.50 for a can of sanpellogrino. Prices are one thing but accompanied with a horrendous and rude service please don't spend anytime here bring sandwiches and your own drinks to the park.

Came in to take my mom for some lunch after a walk around the park. There was a huge queue out of the door with only one member of staff serving, the other woman seemed to be more interested in her phone than serving the busy queue. When we sat down after spending almost £30 for quiche and some hot drinks, we overheard the manager rudely shouting at the younger girl serving right in front the customers in the tea room. Incredibly unprofessional service that we received, hats off to the younger girl who by the looks of it seemed to be running the place by herself that day. Will not be returning and would not recommend.

I recently used Cartlands in King's Heath Park for my moms wake as my mom loved to go to the park and the tea rooms. They did an absolutely beautiful job for us. Their food, service, professional and sensitivity was truly amazing. Thank you Cartlands

Took my disabled, 79 year old Mom for a nice cup of tea and a cake today. We got told we couldn’t sit where we were sitting as the seats were reserved. No notices were on tables regarding this. We got told to leave as no other space available. But as we were leaving the woman who told us to leave, said they could find us a table & chairs & put by the entrance/exit door was right next to a large dustbin with no lid on it. It’s so disgusting how disabled, the older generation are treated these days. The whole cafe was filled with snooty parents with their young children. Make sure you double book before you even attempt to go to this place. We’ll never go there again

I took my mom to cartlands for her birthday and was overcharged for 3 afternoon teas. When I queried this with the staff I was told I would recieve a £20 refund. The manager then phoned me back a few hours later to say they would only be refunding me £8. I have still not recieved my refund and it has been over two months since we visited the tea room. It is such a shame the staff behaved in this manner as we actually really enjoyed the food and the setting. I would not return to Cartlands as I feel the place is let down by poor customer service and staff who clearly value the money they recieve rather than having a regular customer base.
