I just been to Cartier kn th Old Bond street. I never been to this shop before and never shop in these sort of shops. I was in bit of trepidation if j will be allowed in the store. But the experience was great the service fast with respect and all was very excellent. So thank you to all the nice staff who served me.

Terrible customer service! My wife went there last Saturday to try to have her Cartier watch do a quick service and battery replacement. But she was “politely” rejected because “the store was very busy”. I didn’t know how busy they were, but there were only two persons in the queue. My wife asked if she could actually leave her watch at the store and she could return later or on a different day when that was done - a fair suggestion if the store was indeed busy - but the store lady plainly said no, and asked her to come back to try her luck on a weekday. Ok it isn’t only that the Cartier store can be busy. Their customers and their timepiece owners can also be busy. Does my wife have to try her luck every day at the store? I’d rather Cartier says on its website that no battery service can be done at store than to pretend there is great customer service and then they’d calculate how many quids you’d generate before they’d allow you in! Just so frustrating! I also own an IWC watch and recently went back to check for a complete service. I felt really treasured as an IWC timepiece owner - and that’s exactly how one should feel as a customer of a luxury brand. Or else I’d just own an Apple Watch and still I would have felt more treasured going to an Apple Store to check something. I hope Cartier read this and really consider changing the way they treat their repeat customers.
