  Carrs Windows were nothing but a delight. From the moment of placing the order to the fitters cleaning the house once the windows were fitted, nothing was too much trouble for Carrs. I was not an easy customer and changed my mind on several aspects between ordering and the windows going in, but Carrs took everything in their stride. Visiting the showroom was a lovely experience in itself, the email correspondence and customer services has been nothing but exceptional; and we have never had such polite and respectful contractors in the house. All four fitters fitted our beautiful, high quality windows perfectly with no mess left behind afterwards. I was worried I would be cleaning for days with lots of filling to do, but aside from dusting each room and having to paint back the walls around the windows, Carrs did everything themselves. We have had many compliments on our new windows and door and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. What an outstanding company - Thank you to all of the team.

  Carrs Windows - highly professional family-owned double glazing business We live in a converted 18th century coach house built in stone. The original mock sash windows and doors were either rotting or ill-fitting. So we decided to replace them. Carrs is a small family owned Skipton-based company with a strong focus on personal service and quality of work. The most impressive aspects of their business is their attention to detail. Kim, Leigh and Marc of the firm were incredibly responsive to our needs. Their expert team of joiners carefully crafted the replacement doors and windows to fit our original non-standard size window and door openings.   Great independent local company. I must admit I did chose them pretty much at random, but after the first visit from Marc, I knew these were the people I wanted to work on my house. The initial visit was all about looking at my house, measuring the windows, discussing what I wanted, options for achieving it, and possible alternatives. No hard sell, no pressure, no 'sign now' discounts. The fitting was delayed by Covid Lockdown, but as soon as they were back and working, they were in touch to arrange a date for installation. The installation itself was amazing. Two really polite, clean & tidy lads who fitted the windows over several days taking great care, and leaving the house so tidy each evening that I barely knew they'd been! One door had a slight error in it's measurement/manufacture. Even though the only effect of this was to make it a bit stiff to shut & lock, it was flagged up to me immediately, and I was told a replacement had been ordered. At the end of fitting, I had a quick check round and found a couple of 'snags'. When the lads checked round - they found and sorted out about 5!! They had higher standards than me! There were a couple of items that on completion had been flagged up as needing new parts made to fix (the door being one). Within about 3 weeks though, a fitter returned and fitted the replacement bits. So overall, I was very impressed with the service, the quality of my windows, and the whole experience of having them fitted. All I had to do was a tiny bit of touching up around some of the windows, so neat was the installation. Highly recommended.

  We are absolutely thrilled with our new front door and window manufactured and fitted by Carr's Windows Ltd. We were away for a few days when fitting was taking place. The fitters did a wonderful job and on our return, everything was as we left it, such tidy workers and they even washed their mugs before locking up and leaving!! Thank you to Marc and your team.   Extremely happy not only with the product but also with the service. We have a three storey house in a terraced position so fitting, in one case, a huge picture window was exceptionally tricky but done with no fuss. We are slowly replacing all our windows and will use Carr's windows for all of them. Would recommend unreservedly.
