Carrs Welding Technologies Ltd invited me for a trial five hours (foc) for a receptionist/accounts position & despite I said during my interview I had no experience of Sage, I was given two tests on Sage. I have always felt this was cruel & effected my confidence in apply for other positions. Luckily, I didn’t get the position and on reflection I would not wish to work for such company. I also didn’t like how office staff didn’t speak to the workforce during my trial day.

I have used Carrs for a few mould tool repairs with their drop in laser welding services with perfect results every time. Then we had real problems with super fine engraving a tool with a cnc machine, after a call to Alistair at carrs we tried Laser engraving and what a result !! Very Quick turn round, Perfect quality and very reasonable cost. Will definitely be using this service again - highly recommended

We have been using Carrs Welding for the past few years for a precision laser welding. Ours is a specialist welding of a 200micorn thick (thin!) printing sheet made of nickel around a roll with a thinnest weld line possible. The weld line is also around 200-300micron in width. We have looked at a number of other lasers welding options, however the quality, responsiveness and professionalism is second to none with Carrs.
