Do not buy a car from these people (and if you do risk it, don't do a bank transfer, make sure you have some form of protection - CC will cover you when it goes wrong). Bought a car that went wrong within 7 days. (Catastrophic engine failure). My wife phoned them and they told her it was her fault as we hadn't got it serviced - even though the service book said it had been serviced 2 months ago by them, and we bought it from them 7 days ago. After various ignored phone calls and emails, we sent a recorded letter stating our right of return (under the consumer rights act 2015) and had to battle to get our refund. They refused to collect the undriveable, unsafe car, and didn't reimburse us the £200 fee we had to pay to return the clearly faulty at time of purchase back to them. I would never go near this company again, if you do, please make sure you cover yourself and use a secure purchase method (not a bank transfer). I also notice a hell of a lot of 5* reviews from accounts with no other review on them, funny that!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY A CAR FROM CARLOVERS I brought a Volkswagen Golf from Carlovers Sales LTD in November 2021. One week after purchasing the car I discovered that the only keyhole on the vehicle, situated on the driver side has been drilled into and was therefore completely non-functional. I cannot get into the car if the central locking fails ( Which it did on two occasions, where the car doors could not close after opening). In person, I contacted the car dealer Mr Misaq who sold me the car and he assured me he was going to get it repaired immediately. Since the first week in December 2021 i have contacted the Mr Misaq countless amount of time in person, over the phone and by text to get the car repair. It is now six months since I purchased the car and it has still not been repair. I have also since discovered that the mileage shown on the car when I brought it was altered. At the time I brought the car, the details on the MOT and dashboard showed the mileage as 8200( estimate). However, when I did an history check on the car, previous MOTs showed the mileage as being over 36000 miles. At the time of purchase Mr Misaq also told me that the car was in a "minor" car accident, the history check revealed that the car was in a previous major car accident. I have tried to take Carlovers Sales LTD to the Motoring Ombudsman, only to discover that they are not a member. In fact, Carlovers Sales LTD is also not a member of The Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI), the Chartered Trading Standards Institute or any other consumer dispute resolution body. So if you have an issue with the car, your only option is to hope the dealer resolve it for you else you'll be stuck. Your alternative option is the small claims court. A long time-consuming process, I wish I knew this before buying the car My advised to anyone buying from Carlovers Sales LTD is before buying the car check, check and re-check EVERY part of the car before purchasing AND purchase a full history check, if you find anything which you werent told about and could affect resale, I'm sure you’ll agree that doing the car check would have been money well spent. And if youre in doubt, dont buy the car or buy through hire purchasing, so you can return it easily.

Avoid!! Avoid!! They sold me a faulty car and doesn't want to fix it. I bought the car 3 months ago and had warranty with in 2 days I had issues with the wheel making a really horrible sound when I turn the steering I phoned them and he took it to a mechanic got it fixed. nearly 3 months later I was driving on the a13 heading towards South London and the car came to a hault with me and my 1 year old baby in the back. I told them about it and at first they didn't want to fix it and I was blamed for the car over heating. The guy came installed the thing for the coolant obviously he's not a mechanic he didn't take the car for a test drive he just turned it on poured water in it and left. I drive the car 40 meters and it started to over heat and loss power again I've informed Carlovers about this and they aren't answering my calls or responding to my text messages so I am now seeking legal help so I can get my full refund on the car aswell loss of convince. If you don't want the headache don't bother buying from these fraudsters. Their cars are faulty and unreliable. I will be posting on auto trader too
