FAQ

What types of animals do you rescue and care for?

We rescue and care for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and small animals like hamsters and guinea pigs. We also occasionally rescue larger animals like horses and ponies.

How do you prioritize rescue cases?

We prioritize rescue cases based on the severity of the animal's condition and the level of danger they are in. For example, if an animal is injured or in immediate danger, we will prioritize their case over an animal that is simply in need of rehoming.

What is your adoption process for animals in your care?

Our adoption process involves an application form, a home check, and a meet-and-greet with the animal. We want to make sure that our animals are going to good, loving homes where they will be well-cared for. We also offer support and advice to adopters after the adoption process is complete.

Do you offer any education or outreach programs for the community?

Yes, we offer a variety of education and outreach programs for the community. We visit schools to teach children about responsible pet ownership and animal welfare, and we also offer volunteer opportunities for people who want to get involved with our organization.

How can I support your organization and its mission?

There are many ways to support our organization and its mission, including donating money, volunteering your time, fostering animals, and spreading the word about our work on social media. Every little bit helps and we appreciate all the support we can get!

Just adopted a beautiful 10 month old dog from this rescue centre, couldn't fault their positive ethos, enthusiasm, friendliness of the staff and the determination to help any dog in need. I can't wait to bring her home.

The guys here are amazing, they look after our fur babies until they find their forever home. We adopted felix (the one on the back of the chair) in 2008, we lost him in 2021, then we adopted Loki in 2021

Very rude receptionist! Obviously what Carla Lane does is incredible, but one receptionist in particular needs re-training on how to talk to the general public.
