I received an email in August telling me that I had two weeks to cancel the auto renew aspect of the car hire excess policy. The link in the email to do this did not work. I then emailed the company to cancel the auto renew and eventually received a reply to confirm this. Today I received an email telling me my policy had auto renewed! After a 25 minute wait on an unanswered phone someone finally picked up. It seems likely only one person was working in the office. I now have to wait 3-5 days for my refund. Beware of the auto renew aspect if you take out a policy, the long delay in answering calls if you have to contact the company and the fact that even if you have confirmation the policy will not renew ...it will!
