  Don't waste your time. I have been an employee for a few months now at Career Legal. My concern at first was with the pay the fact that they pay 10 pound an hour for a role permanent staff members get paid far more for, and the fact that holiday pay is not even paid automatically unless you chase them up for it?(which I had to find out from another team member not even my consultant) The next issue is the empty promises, the lack of consistent work and overall having to chase up members of the team for responses to my concerns (moving pension payment was another). I also felt very disposable during my time here, often feeling like my job could discontinued very easily which had happened a few times for instance booking in bulk-shifts at locations which had suddenly turned into one or two, I understand these types of things can arise with a flexible position, but the lack of desire from the team to help find a substitute was disappointing (if the client doesn't need you than tough type of attitude). The focus is very much on the client's needs which they emphasise in their text messages/ emails. (There are agencies where consultants have been much more helpful and caring towards YOUR experience and ability to find work. Not here!) Additionally, the likelihood of getting work if they are not busy decreases substantially. This is to name a few of the problems. I think it is convenient that you are sent out alone often with no other Career Legal employees, because the moment I met others from this agency my eyes were opened, so many people have the same problems, which is why it shocked me to see the sudden spur of GOOD REVIEWS!? That seem to have come out of nowhere...(hmm dodgy if you ask me). But when I realised the bad reviews were the ones with the most likes, I realised something may not be adding up and the lot of them may quite likely be a bunch of crooks. Rather than trying to clean up their reviews to trick more people to work here, this company needs to clean the real mess up here which are the real concerns of their employees.

  Thank you... After looking for work for a while I was contacted by Becci Copeland at Career legal, she was able to match me to a role that was well suited to me. I was really impressed with the time she spent with me to get to know what I wanted from my next opportunity, she was also really helpful with the interview prep and how to log into the virtual meeting rooms for interviews, she also told me what to expect, the interview process went really well, which ended up with me getting the role. I was also kept in the loop with regular updates throughout.
