I taught here for about a term as a supply teacher about 2 years ago. This is a great school to be a supply teacher in, and I am confident, probably a permanent one too. I found that the students were very respectful and treated me as if I was their usual teacher. The science dept has very organised lesson plans so in the event of me being a supply teacher, the students did not lose out and were taught the same lessons as everyone else. Because I wasn't lesson planning from scratch, I gained more to mark work and provide feedback, which is probably the most important part of a teacher's job. This school is rated good by ofsted but from the point of view of a teacher, I felt it was better than some schools that have been rated outstanding.

Food is decent, teachers are pretty good, but the school itself is very small, so its hard to get lost. Also there are a lot of weird awkward rules. Apart from that its a decent school.

This school has an appalling amount of bullying that happens in it. The teachers do nothing to help if your child is bullied, if this happens to your child they will make promises that are absolutely fruitless. You will after months of meetings with empty promises be left with no alternative than to try and find your child a different school. They don't set homework, a child may think this is amazing. It leaves children not prepared for their future if they decide to go into further education.
