Bacon chops is the main reason for a visit to Caravan! The cornbread option for brunch is also very good. Lovely filter coffee and iced long black. Great atmosphere, NZ beachy vibe.

We visited Caravan Fitzrovia and had a good time, for the most part. The food was really good and the portions were really good too. We ordered a bunch of stuff and the highlights were - the jalapeño cornbread, the cod dumplings, the charred salad and the caramelised brioche. We were able to divvy up most of the servings amongst a group of 5 and the portions were pretty good. The service left a little to be desired, though - we had requested for an extra portion of cornbread that never came, we ordered a portion of tiramisu that was frozen to the extent that it was hard to bite into and we had to remind the servers thrice that it was a birthday dinner and we wanted a candle on the dessert (which arrived only after half the dessert had already been eaten). The vibe of the place was generally nice. The service was a little underwhelming especially considering it was a Tuesday night and it wasn’t that busy so I can’t even imagine how it must be when it’s busy. Overall, I’d give it a 7/10 with the service being the biggest con
