There’s simply no point in paying for membership! The App / website search for availability is next to useless. Added to which it seems members book years, months in advance, so site availability is terrible. Second year of membership as a Campervan owner will be my last,. When I have stayed, they’ve been friendly sites, a bit sterile, but very practical and well kept.

If the motorhome caravans etc are limited to 5mph - WHY are the kids electric toy cars etc not also restricted - they also seem to ignore directional arrows - and then the electric bicycles of the adults also zoom around the place.

Terrible, not a club just a business really. The new web site and booking system is terrible. Some site staff are incredibly rude. Pitch prices are horrific.

Bought from the club shop thinking we could trust them. We received a Hyundai generator that was over 6 years old and faulty. Now we are having trouble getting our money back. 4 weeks later and we have not received a refund.

Absolutely shambolic. Booked a pitch at one of your sites, website crashed after the payment page. No confirmation sent so rang your head office as instructed by your web page, told to ring the campsite. Rang campsite to be told they have no record of my booking. Eventually managed to get hold of someone in the web booking department, found my booking and payment to be told there wasn't any grass pitches left (plenty available when I booked) and the only other option was a hardstanding, which was fine......except they then wanted me to pay extra for it!!!! Not a chance, bearing in mind the amount of time I spent on the phone and on hold trying to sort this mess (which was no fault of mine) out. Abysmal customer service. Off the back of this I've cancelled the stay I had booked at the NEC for the show. Unbelievably poor customer service.

Why are we still paying for internet its not the 1990s ?? Because of its location I recently stayed at a Camping and Caravan Club site. It was exactly as their strap line states "Friendly" its also had free internet on unlimited devices and good quality. I then moved to a CMH site which was considerably more expensive on top of which i had to purchase internet and it was only valid for one device, the contrast could not have been more stark. Many members were grumbling and commenting. Yes overall CMH sites are of better and more consistent quality in terms of facilities and grounds etc but paying for internet now is like living in the dark ages. Free internet is ubiquitous now; hotels, airports, shopping centres restaurants, pubs. even McDonalds...everywhere except CMH sites !!!
