The room was clean, there was a bath as well as shower. The bed linen was fresh, but the mattress was so hard I used the spare pillows to sleep on. The restaurant bar area was quite busy and loud at first. Our evening meal was fine, tho I'm not sure why the Thai curry came in a bowl, and the rice on a plate. Odd! It was tasty but there was a lot of Thai curry 'soup' left over. My husband had fish & chips. Not much choice in wine by the glass. Breakfast was 8.30-9.30, no hanging around! It was fine. Its location at the top of the road down to the harbour is it's best attribute. Location over comfort. I'm afraid I didn't bother taking photos.

A welcome sight after the climb back up the hill from Staithes. Opposite the carpark at the top . Dog friendly. No play area for kids but there is a play area across the road towards the carpark . We had light bites , beautiful fresh scampi , calamari rings , creamy garlic mushrooms and some cheesy chips , all of it was absolutely banging! It's quirky inside , lots of seating. Great little menu . Lovely friendly welcoming staff. Will visit again .

Stayed here for 2 nights in May to do a bit of walking. The room was huge with a bit of a sea view (bonus!) and a couple of bottles of free water, tea & coffee and a big telly. The staff are really friendly and the food was great! If you're hungry just get the large steak pie...that'll fill you right up believe me! Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious room, loads of tea, coffee and milk. Two bottles of water was a nice touch too. The pubs in a great location. The evening meal was lovely, as was breakfast and it's a nice friendly atmosphere. They let me park my motorbike inside their yard too for extra security which was appreciated. Hope to visit again in the future. Rooms : 4/5 | Service : 4/5 | Location : 4/5 Hotel highlights Great view … More
