We called Capstan and an engineer came round within an hour or so and got it all sorted. That's the joy of a local family run business - prompt, professional and a pleasure to deal with. THANKS

We had a security system installed at our home 5 years ago and had to have the whole system powered down and shut off when it went off in the middle of the night and wouldn't stop. This cost me £150 & VAT in 2019. After lockdown in June 2021 we had the system reinstated at a cost of £322 including one years maintenance upfront. Since then we have put the alarm on twice . On Sunday we went out and put the alarm on. Upon our return it wouldn't turn off so we had to call the engineer out who powered the whole thing down again. The engineer said that the control unit was faulty. Capstan want to charge us £54 call out fee and said they would supply an estimate to replace the faulty control unit! I have lost all confidence in this company and their products. I have paid out hundreds of pounds to this company for them to install poor quality products that go wrong then they want to charge me loads more money to switch the thing off when it goes wrong and also then to replace their poor quality products. I have asked the MD to remove all their faulty equipment give me a refund and I will go elsewhere as I no longer have any confidence that the alarm will ever work properly. Of course he refused and I am left with no working alarm and several hundred pounds poorer. I found the MD unhelpful and he did not want to understand my point of view. I would not recommend this company to anyone in terms of products, service or being understanding.
