Looks good from the outside and inside... But the food was of a poor quality, bland, little flavour served hot! The chicken was tough as if it was warmed from the previous day, fries were great. The sauce on the salmon had no flavour, salad and the sauté potatoes were well cooked and tasty. Rocket was everywhere! Sorry but I feel it was time and £80 wasted, we will not be returning.

Booked at table for 8:15 and got told to wait in the bar area, we didn’t get seated until 8:50. We did ask after 20 minutes when we would be seated, they just claimed to have been setting up the table! Once seated we had to ask to order drinks and food as none of the staff seemed particularly attentive or bothered. God knows how long we’d have been sat there for if we hadn’t have asked. Food was lovely though🙂

What can I say about Capri? I’ve been coming here for 16 years, had birthdays here, hired the room upstairs for events, come very regularly. But alas, I won’t be coming again in the near future. The last few times the service has been poor and I’ve had to send food back. They don’t seem particularly bothered about this, they just accept it. I can’t justify spending my money here any more. I don’t know what’s happened over the last couple of years but the quality and service has gone downhill. So, with a heavy heart, that’s it for me.
