My 2 kids have started Capoeira 2 years ago and they have loved every lesson! Yes it's tough, but it's fun, and they push through. They learn to listen to the others, to their body, to the teacher (both fabulous!), to the music. Their confidence has grown a lot too! I Highly recommend!

Sereia, a Capoeira teacher, is not only an experienced and great mentor, that takes care of each student according to his level but a friend. She creates a very friendly and inclusive environment, combining workshops with great events and summer camps. The diversity of cultures you find in her class is another fact I especially appreciate. I can reassure you that in her class you'll find new and long-lasting friends.

Belonging to the group Jinga Jinga CAPOIERA Muzenza since September, I again could appreciate to practise a sport in a superb environment. I had never practised will capoiera it before and thanks to Sereia and his classes which I appreciate enormously, I found a sport which fills me in any point. It is a professor very with the listening and which adapts to the level of each one, while learning enormously from things in little time. Lastly, the class of Sereia gathers full with beautiful values such as the reception, solidarity, the mutual aid and listening. It is a real pleasure of making will capoiera in a group as brilliant as that Ci. With all my sincerity, I recommend to any person wishing to begin as a capoierist, to integrate this class.

Having trained in several capoeira groups, and with many capoeira teachers, I can confidently say that Sereia is one of the absolute best teachers I had the chance to train with. Her lessons are fun, engaging and focussed. She manages to make the beginners feel at ease very quickly and to push the students with more level accordingly. And she easily adapts exercises to whether you have back problems, knees issues, if you are pregnant, etc... She also has a huge amount of connections in the capoeira community and as such offers the possibility to attend many events and gradings throughout the year for those who want to join. And group of people training is as amazing as the teacher! Everyone is very supportive and always willing to help. There are a lot of socials oragnised and many opportunities to spend time with great people and know each other better. For the curious, the adventurer, the sporty, the dancy, the fun, the challenger, the musical, the history geek, or the fun... I wholeheartedly recommend!!

Such an amazing class, and even more amazing teacher (as a Capoeirista and as a person). I joined Jinga Jinga about 9 months ago and it has only gotten better with time. As a beginner, Sereia was super supportive and the environment in class has such positive vibes that you always feel welcomed and never left behind or under your capabilities. I can only say good things about Sereia and her class, I simply enjoy every part of it, the culture, the music, the moves and the people that you meet during this Capoeira journey! Amazing!

Really good club to learn the art form of Capoeira in a safe controlled environment. Club members are friendly and eager to help out. Coming from a different capoeira school I felt quite at home. Equal attention is given to teaching the music and culture connected to Capoeira. There are outdoor training sessions during summer. Sereia is a really great coach/teacher with a high level of mental and physical energy which is very contagious. Her classes are very accommodating to beginners and are structured for all levels. Her training methods are very organised and you’ll find your fitness level improving and progression at your game very quickly. Classes on Mondays and Wednesdays are a cartwheel away from Royal Oak station with ample parking around it. Friday class is at a great location across from Paddington station, plenty of pubs and restaurants for Friday evenings after training drinks and meals. Would highly recommend joining and training on a regular basis or just stopping by for a trial class to see it for yourself.

Sereia's classes are fun and challenging at the same time. Sereia is not only a fantastic teacher, who will motivate you and help you work at your own speed, but also a great character, and a brilliant capoeirista. Coming to the class for the first time I was made to feel welcome by the whole team, who have been friendly and supportive ever since. As a beginner, I love the fact that the class is split into different levels, so you can take your time learning new techniques, while at the same time catching a sneaky peak of the pros at work.
