Fabulous customer service. Canterbury Taxis Ltd. was able to provide a last minute airport transfer to Heathrow after another taxi company had cancelled my booking last minute. The operator was kind and quickly arranged another taxi for me with Emil who was very friendly and helpful. Thank you Canterbury Taxis Ltd. for making my trip smoother and for an amazing customer experience. Cannot recommend enough.

my housemates and I just had a very aggressive conversation down the phone with the manager (aggressive on his part). He was being very dismissive of her down the phone as we have had an ongoing issue for a few weeks about a payment that was taken without authorisation as a double payment for one taxi. He refused to listen to her despite having all the evidence of the double payment. My other housemate joined in the conversation to add some help and add some helpful points. he very dismissively said "i dont want to talk to you as the card used for payment is not yours", despite the card owner authorising her to speak. this is a house card that we all have access to and control of. the money used to book the taxi was all of our pooled money. he kept repeating one thing, getting louder and more frustrated at us. we were very respectful and understood everything that he said and he was just so incredibly rude. We then asked for a write up of this conversation over email so we have a clear picture of what is going on and can take the next steps accordingly. He refused this with no reason given and then repeatedly said i am going to end this conversation now. we said that we respect that he must reach out to the company dealing with their transactions, "stripe", but to please have a record of this conversation. as we were still speaking to him, he hung up on us. we have no idea how long this will take and how long to wait until we reach out again. update: he called us back and said that he is issuing a refund, after a long winded explanation that it must have been her phone service being poor or that she made an error herself and payed twice. this isn't true as we have a screenshot FROM stripe saying "status unpayed" so this is obviously a lie. we decided to leave it at this point as it would have resulted in another argument. so for peace of mind, dont use this company please.
