Rubish day care for dogs please avoid at all costs! Multiple injuries to my dog costing hundreds in day medical bills due to inadequate and untrained care from uncaring staff who are unable to provide even the basics of care. *EDIT* In response to the slanderous comments made by the owner (please see below) - Not one report ever advising of aggressive behaviour from our dog towards members of staff or other dogs, other than a couple of mentions of "excitable behaviour", but never aggression on pick up and no warning ever provided formally. - Kicked out of day care with no prior warning. We have asked for reports on the incidents they slanderously claim however none have materialised so far. - We have multiple vets bills proving inadequate care. On multiple occasions he was collected with cuts or bleeding wounds with either no explanation or "we don't know how he's done that". We naively turned a blind eye and thought this is the territory of mixing with other dogs....something we have learned from. - We have also asked for their insurance details multiple times, only to be laughed at by the owner and in his words told "we are using big words we don't understand" or "wouldn't know how to make claim" - On being removed from the daycare we spoke to multiple staff members for evidence on what has happened and was advised 1. Dog is not aggressive. 2. The unreported incident which involved the staff member was an accident and caused by our dog getting excited at his lead and jumping up (a behaviour we have never seen) at his lead. It was never a bite as this slanderous claim has been made, it was an accidental scratch. 3. Our dog was kept by himself all day in a cage with little contact surrounded by barking dogs, most likely causing stress and anxiety (something we have never been made aware of and only found out after speaking to staff after we left). I believe these accounts are true as at that point they had know knowledge of us being removed. 4. Multiple reports from staff advising of overcrowding of dogs, with multiple advising and quote "they wouldn't bring their own dogs due to this issue and the stress is causes". 5. On speaking with the owner after being removed from the daycare and after the insults to my partner from the owner had finally finished (when she asked for clarity). He did actually clarify that our dog is not aggressive and is infact a "lovely dog". However due to the new staff they had hired from the local college they are "unable to handle him" and in his own words "wooses" and as such could no longer provide the care for him. If they had lead with this in the first place we would have sought care elsewhere. 6. One of the owners (Simon) is one of the rudest, most condescending, patronising, ill-mannered, disrespectful person have to deal with & handles himself very unprofessionally. The fact that a month later we are now still being harassed via texts and word of mouth in the local area is embarrassing for this business. Waking up this morning to a text a month later from the day care to advise they will be seeking this review to be removed for slanderous claims and despite slanderous claims being made against ourselves. There are most likely multiple incidents of this happening in order to keep a high reviewed site which most likely isn't a true representation or reflection. Additionally, the way the owner speaks about his staff and to his staff shows what kind of place this is. Completely unprofessional in the way they conduct themselves. This review is my personal opinion from my experience and dealings with these people & evidence provided from staff members. Others may have a difference of opinion and different experience, but we are not the only people to experience this, and this review serves to highlight issues we have encountered and offer a reflection to others.
