We bought a 5 bed house on the Bradwell Springs development in the Peak District. Our purchase was dealt with professionally by Louise in the site office and the buying process went smoothly. We had a couple of initial snagging issues, but these were dealt with promptly and effectively. However, the biggest issue remains unresolved. The master bedroom and en-suite, located above the garage, are extremely cold in winter and pretty much uninhabitable. My concern has been ignored and so, in winter, our 5-bed house effectively becomes a four bedder. We have also had a problem with the chimney flashing which was blown off in recent winds. Camstead refused to repair as they claimed the problem was “due to an act of nature.” The contractor I employed reported that the flashing had been inadequately anchored. Very disappointing.

Saw some of the negative comments about Camstead and thought they are really unfair and not reflective of our experience at all! Bought our gorgeous home from Camstead a few years ago and now looking to buy our second home at The Heath. Great houses, look beautiful and have a really great aftercare service. The sales staff are always super helpful, knowledgeable, and made our whole process easy and enjoyable. We would recommend to anyone and thank you again to Camstead homes!!!

Terrible customer care. Still trying to get stuff rectified 6 years on. Windows are the biggest problem. I can see into the cavity and the wooden frame of the windows. Being told it's all normal. I should not be able to see insulation from the outside of my house

Camstead have built us a house in Bradwell which we are thoroughly enjoying. Louise the sales agent has been fantastic throughout and very supportive. All the urgent snagging issues have been resolved. I’m sure the outstanding few snags will be resolved soon. Overall very happy with the house and service received.
