Fantastic dinner last night. First time we have visited and we got the best table in the house (in the middle courtyard). Server was brilliant at taking us through the menu and was vindicated on the dishes we ordered from his recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious, portions generous (the desserts especially), and was very quick to come. Was easily one of the best experiences we have had this year.

Left here disappointed - had booked a table in advance and put in the notes that this was a birthday occasion. We were put in the back room which lacks in atmosphere compared to the rest of the restaurant, and our table wasn’t even made up - eventually they brought us some cutlery but no napkins, we had to ask again for these. It felt like they’d given away our table and put us on an overflow table. The service wasn’t great - we didn’t have much guidance on the menu at all and not warned that the pasta ‘mains’ were very small portions. Overall, food was ok but overpriced and we did not feel very looked after. The tiramisu was great, but sadly not enough to bring me back to Campania.

Yes it's a pretty place, but I can't in good faith recommend it. £21 gets you five (yes, five) pieces of ravioli with butter and garlic. Seems to be riding very much on its ambience and forgetting to actually provide good meals.

Warm homely restaurant selling hearty meals. I had their ragu and even though it may look small it was very filling to me! Candle lit tables with good atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend it for dates or a dinner with friends. We had the waiter explain what was on the menu since there wasn't any English or pictures (just a heads up). The flavours in the ragu was good, not sure how other people were saying it was too bland in the other reviews. The lemonade I ordered was much more on the sour side and only the last part of the drink was sweet? I think they made it on the spot so the sugar didn't have the proper time to dissolve maybe. The chocolate cake they served wasn't very moist and it was crumbly/dry; I'm not sure if that counts as staleness though. Little bit hard to find as it was in a back alley of sorts but overall the experience was good. Bonus: there was a cute cat taking a nap :D
