I went to this camp with my friends summer 2021. Firstly this organisation have no ethics. They had a very unfair policy of not refunding us because we missed a scheduled payment. They took our £100 and left us with no tickets, so two of our friends could not come to camp. Secondly we had numerous problems from missing credits on our account which led us to not being able to book activities. We were not able to contact the office, and we did not hear back on time when we tried to contact. Lastly, the showers and toilets were appalling. Dirty and stinking. We had just 2 blocks of showers for the base camp and the water stopped running in one block, leaving us with just 6 showers. The toilets/showers were only cleaned once a day perhaps. They kept running out of soap and toilet paper too. The one star i gave is simply for the concept of this existing.

I bought a ticket for this event off the website. I didn’t receive my ticket so few weeks before the event I asked why I haven’t received my ticket. They assured me I will closer to the time I never received that ticket, I have just received an email from the company that I will not be receiving a discount aswell as the tickets are issued by there computer systems so it’s not there fault. The weekend event is not cheap and this has never happened to me with any other company so it goes without saying that this is worse ever experience with any festival event company.

Camp Wildfire are the most selfish, corrupt, disability discriminatory events company I have dealt with so far. I bought 3 full price Dynamo tickets before the pandemic, looking forward to this event - but then in 2021, I was in ICU for a month, nearly died twice from covid; upon release, I hoped to attend and asked for a carer, also being disabled and having one leg. @campwildfire_ refused, telling me I didn't meet criteria, despite being unable to breathe without oxygen cylinders and having pain and a lifelong disability.... however they promised a refund upon receipt a valid doctor's note. I supplied the note, and they then refused to give a refund, but offered an exchange, but then in the process, lost one of my tickets! @campwildfire_ never reinstated this ticket balance and failed to look for the lost ticket, telling me to find the card number that I used or they would not help or look for it, despite me having a new card since and not having the card anymore. Plus I have proof on my banking of all my transactions. I foolishly bought 2 new tickets, as I couldn't see my old tickets on my account, as I thought they had refunded my tickets at last and that they'd reinstate the missing ticket. As it stands, there was a system error and 2 of the 3 missing tickets returned, so I had 4 tickets showing, when I had purchased 5 in total. Still nothing was done about this missing dynamo premium ticket, which I paid top dollar for 3 in the first place. No refund or exchange given!! I don't know why I decided to want to come to @campwildfire_ this year, after such rampant ableism, how they had taken my money and lost a ticket, refused to refund me or acknowledge my disability, but I hoped I could see what they're really about and wanted to participate. I was unable to attend this year due to significant health issues again, which I have medical documentation of, and perhaps an activity adventure festival was something that a disabled person in a lot of pain and with a progressive condition probably can't attend. Never mind that @campwildfire_ won't allow or issue carer tickets to clearly disabled patrons, and that they state to their disabled patrons the criteria of who is disabled and who is not, refusing any other proof, even from a doctor. I have been emailing @campwildfire_ for a year now and been ignored, until they chased me up over an imaginary trader's pitch that I hadn't filled out the documentation for, asserting that I had indeed applied and failed in providing paperwork, until they finally conceded that they'd made a mix up. @campwildfire_ went back to ignoring my request for a refund until eventually they got in touch to reject my offer of them refunding the money to my mum's charity (SHARe Knowsley, who helps with desperate refugees and asylum seekers in our local area), refusing any kind of refund, and again, only offering an exchange, and the chance to sell it on their platform (with @campwildfire_ taking 10% of the sale amount) and with STILL a missing ticket (having stolen this money from me and no reinstatement or reimbursement in sight). AS IF I would want to come to this event run by such sloppy sharks, with how they've treated me for a start, never mind that I can't physically attend anyway due to my disability and progressive complications, and despite all doctor's notes and me having communication pointing out their errors and wrongdoings, they have emailed me now to tell me that due to the "aggressive manner of my communication", (despite wishing them well and throwing in heart and smile emojis and being as polite as I can, whilst being firm but fair, with legitimate grievances to try and encourage a better outcome for all) that they have withdrawn my exchanged tickets and they have now stolen well over nearly £2500 from me now. I have heard so many bad things about this company and clique from people they've employed to run workshops at their festival too.
