I went to a camp last summer. I've been emailing about the money that I should have got six months ago. And even though at first I got a few reply saying they are working on it, they have been ghosting me for over two months. I have money to get from them and they are not paying me my money. That's the kind of agency this is.

Camp America do not check where they are sending you. Had the most awful summer being belittled, living in mouldy cabins and showers. Directors speak to counsellors awfully and bully individuals. We had our phones taken off of us without notice, we were told we were allowed to use them in our free time when we signed up but then changed the rules when we arrived. Disgusting food all summer. Counsellors having panic attacks regularly due to the treatment. AVOID CAMP AMERICA. Poor service to councellors from camp america. No reimbursement of fees.

I signed up with Camp America after speaking with their FB messenger team just to double check I wasn't too old for their programme after having a horrible experience with another agency. They reassured me there would be no issues, they were fast to reply, super friendly and clear. I had my interview with Eleanor in Birmingham a couple of weeks later, she was also fantastic! I have since been placed at my chosen camp, and my passport with my visa in arrived back yesterday. I am booked onto orientation in May and I'm super excited. CA always answer the phone straight away and deal with your query effectively. I can't fault their service so far, and thank them very much for their help and support throughout this process. 10/10 :)
