Nothing screams “Camden” like a music shop bang in the middle of Camden situated between Chalk Farm and Camden Town station opposite the market itself, this music shop is like a treasure trove for musicians, it feels really old school meaning that you feel the shopping experience as soon as you walk through the door. This shop is owned by a Brazilian who not only sells all types of guitars but also makes his own. You feel the need to spend ages just looking around in the hope that you might find a classic, if not instrument then a classic vinyl album. You can get your guitar restrung or pickup a lovely percussion piece. They have some great drums and a really wide range of guitars 🎸 Camden guitars is one of those shops you hope never ever closes down because of the hands on shopping experience and the knowledge behind the counter. Not only is the owner a great guitarist but he also plays the bass equally as good. Neves has filled this shop with such a wide range of musical instruments that it’s a must visit. I bought a cajón from this shop last year and I still love it. Let me know what you think when you visit.
