A magnificent library, but frustrating that no bags are allowed past the main entrance and any materials have to be carried loosely. For example, a laptop and its power cable along with anything else needed for study or research. I’d much rather take my bag in, and have it checked as I leave if they’re concerned people will take books without permission. Only library I’ve experienced this procedure.
