I've had a really pleasant experience with Duncan and the whole team at Cambridge Pianoforte Centre. I have been renting a piano from CPC through my university, since early November, and Duncan couldn't have been more helpful, from the process of choosing the right piano to rent, to arranging delivery of it for me, with clear communication and super quick responses to emails. There was a small problem with the adjustment of one of the pedals on the piano after a couple of weeks, and it was kindly sorted by CPC within a couple of days, no fuss. Really great experience, highly recommended!

Well, that was an utterly joyful experience in every way. From describing (very roughly) what I was looking for in a piano and giving a budget guide, Iain and Duncan were able to suggest a beautiful instrument which felt as if it was 'mine' from the moment I played it. The shop is lovely - well worth a visit for music, pianos or just for the feel-good factor of being in a place of exceptional expertise. The delivery of my piano was speedy, efficient and faultless and I enjoyed the little potted oral history of where it was made from the (also piano expert) delivery drivers. For the record, I was buying a 1990s upright Kemble - not a Steinway D - and yet I still felt like the Most Important Customer In The World. Thank you to everyone. Really love my piano :)
