As a family we love to go here we go around the mill as well as have an amazing walk around the resevoir where there are numerous species of ducks geese swans greebes and others and we love feeding them also there are lots of species of fish in the lake and after the ducks have had their fill the big koi, mirror, and ghost carp come for their share they are massive fish and its just a lovely few hours away from the hustle bustle of the town where we can enjoy wildljfe and just chill

Wonderful place to spend half day around the reservoir. They have a little cafe and shop for drinks and food. They produce their own flours with the old mill that actually is still working.

It just reminds me of my childhood. Dad used to love his Sunday walks and drag us kids with him. We walked the swaithe, the res, and the yellow waters. There was always a pub at the end of his walks, The red lion Worsbrough after the res and the yellow waters, Keel inn stairfoot after the swaithe. Then back home for our Sunday dinner, I absolutely loved our Sunday walks so much.

We've always had a lovely time here. Good play area (mud kitchen recently added is a hit with our kids!), Fantastic cafe (love the coffee and cake) and wonderful walks. Regularly see kingfishers here.
