We had a fantastic holiday onboard the Alouette. The boat itself is kitted out with everything you might need (except a teapot actually, just a thought…) and Stacey is on hand night and day to answer even the silliest of questions. She couldn’t have done more. I didn’t realise there were so few locks on the stretch of river we did, so will look for a different stretch of water (specifically a canal) next time. But it was a really great holiday, very relaxing, I could have stayed another week…

Stacey was brilliant . Nothing was too much trouble and training very helpful . Tim's boat was perfect for us 4 adults, refurbished to a high standard . It was very well equipped and we didn't need a lot of what we took . Bottled water , T towels, toilet rolls & eco friendly washing up liquid / body wash all on board . We didn't rush from place to place , if weather bad we stayed put .Bridge Hotel was lovely food and Ely worth a visit. Best break we have had in UK 100% nicer than all major boat hire companies. Thank you 😊

We have just got back from a fantastic 3 Night break, 4 Adults and a dog. Alouette was well equipped with all the basics including a few doggy treats. It was very clean with sufficient storage space. On our arrival we was met by Stacey who was fabulous, the tutorial she gave was clear, precise and gave advice which route would suit us best. Great customer service and I would highly recommend this company

I cant imagine there is a nicer hire narrow boat than Alouette. We had a fantastic week exploring the rivers around Cambridge, and were especially pleased to find we could moor up right int the centre of Cambridge for the night over the bank holiday weekend. The boat was exceptionally well designed and equipped, there was nothing that hadnt been thought of. We will be back very soon.

These 5 days on Alouette were truly a fantastic experience for the whole family. There were 5 of us on the boat with children aged 8 to 16, and everyone enjoyed changing from full nature immersion to more cultural moments by visiting amazing cities like Cambridge and the beautiful Ely! We felt "at home" on Alouette, very comfortable, warm, cozy (especially the beds!), with everything you need! Tim was very patient and helpful in teaching how to use the boat :) Great vacation that we highly recommend!
