Cambridge how reliable are your international exams? 1st how can schools be permitted to have their own invigilators?Worst of all, who is there to figure out cases of malpractices. Not to mention, how can papers arrive in the school before the due date? Furthermore different schools are having the exam on different dates. I am a Kenyan and when we have our local exams, we have external invigilators, papers arrive at the school on the examination day, and we all have our exams on the same day. In my son's school, the subject teacher for Maths and Science was supervising the examination halls... As per what was written in the time table. This teacher was infact revising minutes before the exam paper with the kids. By the time the students are sitting for the paper, they should have no access to the subject teachers. The standards are unreliable at this rate. You have no stringent rules and regulations in place. Malpractice is also in the form of extra time isnt it, unless its a special request and granted by Cambridge because of health conditions. However this particular school was magnimous with time. English as a second language. How can this be permitted for students who have been born in Kenya, speak the language fluently save for the fact the weaker ones can raise their grades. Where is the fair competition here?
