Since getting my puppy a few months ago I’ve been using Calder vets for her jabs and health checks - I use their plan to pay monthly for this. We’ve visited a few times and the receptionists and vets have always been lovely. No issue in getting a fast appointment and my puppy always enjoys her visits.

I live in Wakefield and need repeat prescriptions for my dog. I tend to go straight to the Dewsbury branch as the Wakefield branch is really poor at getting the meds. They're either late or really poor at communicating when to collect.

Vets are professional and informative, but double check when your pet(s) have had their "free consultations" if you have the life plan. Only one of mine had the "free" consultation and when i next came in for one for a same day one, they charged me for it! Cancelled my life plan now as the benefits just aren't good enough considering how much some people probably pay for their pets. Make sure you have insurance if you go here. Receptionists aren't all bad but there's a few who are rude, judgemental and have no empathy. Honestly some shouldn't be working there.
