Brilliant campsite, with great facilities and beautiful views. Nice and large fields, don't feel cramped. Staff and owner is also lovely, went out of her way to make sure I could have a hot shower after 5 days on a bike. Will be back (with my own towel ;-))

Spent three nights in our caravan. Great site with the world's biggest dog walk. Facilities adequate and clean. The surrounding area is lovely, right on the Lancs/Yorks border.

Fantastic campsite set in a wonderful location. The non electric tent field is well maintained. Amenties are great. Plenty of drinking taps, clean toilets and showers, freezer, a field to walk your dog on, local information board and WiFi. They've truly thought of it all. Nearby activities: St Peter and Paul church

What a lovely campsite. Very impressed with how things are run, everything is well signposted, the ground is tent peg friendly and the amenities are modern. Just had a chap and his daughter come around on a quid bike selling ice creams, can't get much better service than that! Nearby activities: Historic village with good pub and small shop around a 5 to 10 minute walk away. Not far from Pendle Hill (great view from the site!)

We stayed 3 nights in our Transit Custom Camper. Pitches are great sizes and almost all are about level. There were plenty of pitches to choose from upon arrival however it is a game of luck as no pre-booked pitches. Facilities are good, clean and definitely do the job. The site was pretty much full for campervans/caravans and a few tents, not once was there a wait for a shower/toilet. I can imagine on a busy summer's day, there may be a need to wait as only 2 toilets and 2 showers per gender. Dishwashing arwa available and freezer for refreezing blocks. Owners are welcoming and pop round now and then to offer help, fire pits etc. We had a pleasant walk from the site via the fields, onto the river and went to the local pub for a couple of drinks. The only one problem we had was a neighbouring caravan packing up at 6am on a bank holiday Monday, slightly inconsiderate but absolutely no fault of the owners/site.
