We bought a Christmas cake at the Otley Victorian fair in December 2022 and we purchased it because we were told that there was no Candid peel. We opened the cake on Christmas eve and it was beautiful, perhaps a little more brandy would be good. We'll done, and we will remember next year. Ps. After eating more of this cake we found it to be quite disgusting, dry and no taste of any alcohol... Never again!!! You'd be better buying Mr Kipling Christmas Cake Slices.

Would never go to another cake maker. There wonderful people caring to the customer. Not to mention there cakes are sooooo tasty delicious and awesome. Give them a try they have some wonderful ideas etc.

Outstanding product and service, and super friendly people. Gave them a small brief and they did a wonderful job with the cake...so much better than we expected. And sometimes with cakes like this the icing sits on top of an average cake. Not the case here with a lot of flavour in the cake. Both the cake's looks and taste received so much praise from everyone! Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Cakes by Michelle to anyone looking for a special cake.

Ordered a cake for my brother in law 60th from Michelle it was fantastic only gave her a small picture and she captured it brilliantly xx unfortunately I was unable to try it as I am on isolation but my sister said the chocolate cake tasted fantastic x I would definately recommend Michelle for that special cake x thank you so much xxx
