We have been visiting this restaurant for years and have always loved it's quirky charm and good food. On our most recent visit, both the quality and quantity of food were not up to their usual standard. I hope this was just a one-off glitch as I really like eating here. May 2023 update: Things are back to normal. Great food. Friendly and attentive service, and on a Tuesday early evening, a buzzy atmosphere.

Beautiful setting and lovely food. Me and my partner both had the mushroom starter which was very nice, I had a steak spaghetti special and my partner had the tomato chorizo pasta- they were both fantastic. I can also definitely recommend the banoffee pie- delicious. We will be back!

My partner & I went here last night! The starter 'bastoncini dorati' was delicious! The crispy bread crumbs were spot on around the fresh juicy king prawn! Straight away our taste buds were tingling! Then came the mains. My partner had a rib eye which was recommended to have medium! It was cooked to perfection & the gorgonzola sauce was lovely with it! I had the spaghetti con polpette! It was delicious again! The spicy tomato sauce tasted so fresh with just the right amount of spice! The meatballs were fat & tasted great too it was like being back in Italy! Next came the puddings! My partner had bannoffe pie & I had the Tiramisu! Both looked incredible when they arrived! My partner said hers tasted great & my tiramisu was honestly the best I've ever had! It was so light, fluffy & just the right flavours! The staff were also very friendly without being overbearing & offered advice on the dishes. The decor & the building is very nice too! I especially liked the little piece on the back of the menu which gave the history of the building which was a nice touch! We will 100% be back in the future & it will be my new go to when friends & family visit! Thank you
