Insane customer service. Tried to forget it, but never had an experience like this in London before (I’ve lived here for 20 years). The waiter overheard my conversation with a friend mentioning Russians getting Israeli citizenship and interrupted loudly, saying “they should be forced to wear their passports on their heads until they die”. Now, unfortunately I have committed the cardinal sin of being born in Russia, so you can imagine it was not pleasant to hear. Forcing people to wear nationality branding until death - well, let’s not get carried away. Afterwards he did try to justify it by saying it’s only the ones who are escaping now, because of course he would stay and fight (everybody who has never lived in a dictatorship believes this very strongly!). Also, interesting necklace (literally the Sonnenrad, I should have taken a photo). The greatest crime though, is that it was spelled “expresso” on the board.
