I have read the negative reviews but my experience has been positive. I've been in and out of Court since 2015 and Cafcass have been great. Most recently a Cafcass Guardian was appointed who saw straight through the bull and acted in my son's best interest from the outset even when the Local Authority was on my ex's side and making me out as the bad guy....going as far as lying in legal documents, home visits and meetings. I hired a Barrister costing £000s to get an independent Guardian appointed so that my son's voice could be heard. Everything that happened to my son was in his mother's care and the person he identified as hurting him was his mother. If it wasn't for Cafcass and it had been left solely to Sandwell Children's Trust doing the reports, things would have been a lot different. It's wrong to taint everyone with the same brush so thought I'd share my experience.

If I could leave no stars i would. The discrimination shown by cafcass towards me as a father has been diguesting. Will take everything the mother says but will take nothing on the father says. Apparently an investigation against the mother is just asking her a question. Where I had background checks and everything else that found nothing. Appalling service. Rude, shows clear discrimination and the service should be scrapped.

Reading these reviews are all very off putting tbh but I don't think anyone has actually gone to the building itself to speak to them directly maybe go there and put your points across bluntly that's my plan.
