On arrival waiter doesn’t give us a kids menu even though we obviously have a kid (no problem). Asks us three times if we have allergies. Ordered a drink first, ordered food later and somehow the drink came after the food. Waiter looked bemused when we reminded him for the third time about the drink. Food was fine. At the end tried to pay with a voucher, was told that drinks weren’t included (fair enough), person tells me I should have know that… Ordered something else to go in order to finish the voucher (obviously didn’t want to ever go back). Waiter says “we don’t do take away”. Dealt with about 5 different waiters whilst we were there. Last one threw the extra dish on the table without looking at us to make a point. Two stars because the manager/barmen/only person who seemed competent took off the drinks and the service charge. It was a nice gesture. I was fine to pay and didn’t really complain, they just kept coming over and asking me if everything was okay.
