A little gem hidden away in an unexpected part of Bermondsey, but those who know, know, so it is remarkably popular amongst a mixed crowd of unpretentious people. The food is great and very reasonably priced. Superb pizzas, lovely pasta dishes and knockout cocktails, served by the friendly and efficient staff. They have recently added a few specials, which are well worth checking out. For foodies, there are some genuine Sardinian dishes such as the Fregola (pictured) , and Pane Carasau (Sardinian Bread). Top that off with a tiramasu and a grappa or limoncello and you'll walk away smiling. Even when busy, there is plenty of space for a relaxed evening. We often walk in, but recommend parties booking in advance. There is also a deli catering for homesick Italians craving Pandistelle biscuits, Estate or Chinotto, or looking for some special ingredients for their own cooking. Bermondsey's best kept secret. Don't ever change.
