There are many great Italian restaurants here in York. And Ceasars is one of the best. Excellent service as always. I regularly visit here. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and prompt and it is clean. If you like Italian restaurants you cannot go wrong here. Compliments to the chef and everyone involved. 👏

We took my son here for his 10th birthday as he wanted a grown up day out. He has additional needs and they were very accommodating. Staff was very polite and made time to talk to my children. Theres a good selection of food and it was excellent as always, it's not cheap food but you are paying for quality and to say its in the centre of York the price isn't too bad. 100% will return on our next visit to York.

Against better judgement we made a return visit to Caesars after enjoying it so much last year we went twice. York was quieter as was the restaurant which affected it's atmosphere. I had the seafood mixed grill and though the fish was excellent it did lack seasoning. I know there are condiments on the table but some seasoning needs to be used before cooking. I asked for some lemon which helped bring out the flavours. My wife had mushroom risotto which was missing a lot of mushrooms and we should have asked for parmesan to help bring out the flavours. I think these extras should be offered but maybe the waitress was new. My canoli was more like a brandy snap, hard and not the delicious pastry you usually get. The wine waiter was helpful and the house Montipulciano was ok. Maybe have to look for somewhere new on our next visit to York.
