Fun way to get about london and enjoy the riverside sights. Just be aware that some piers are 'unmanned' and you may find the entrance gate at the top of the walkway locked. Just wait there or press the button and when the ferry arrives the boat men will unlock the gate to allow you onto the pontoon. Don't think you've missed the boat if the timetable says there should be one.
