I don't think I have the words for how bad this was. Firstly when ordering drinks "Linda" one of the staff swore at my mother and I saying oh not I've f@&ked it up. We waited an hour for starters and the children's meal we had requested to come with them did not arrive. 20 Minutes later half of the the starter was cleared she did not come back for the rest. Half hour passed and a different staff member cleared the rest. We went to enquire about the whereabouts of the mains. We were told they were on thier way. The child's meal came out last! The food was appealing. The lamb was extremely chewey and the veg was sour! One piece of soggy brocoli between 6 of us as apparently they don't stock much brocoli! Never in all my life have I had such an appaling experience and to top it of the price for drinks is nothing short of robbery. £3.50 for a small fruit shoot. Worst place I have ever eaten.

Food was not as good as the previous visit pre covid we had an exceptionally long wait for our food & it's presentation was a bit rough rather than finess. The beef Wellington was too heavy on the pate, and the pastry was 50% of the dish. The fillet steak my partner had was a bit overcooked, thus dry. The chips were undercooked & looked like leftovers. Tasted fine but for a birthday treat felt a little underwhelmed! Not to mention the price when your an accomplished chef yourself. The waitress was amazing, attentive & good at her job 👏 left feeling why did we bother!

My first visit here with friends. It will not be my last. Reasonably priced quality food. Served by attentative staff. But not over powering.who genuinely wanted to serve you. And what a relaxing atmosphere.
