Spoke to 3 different departments (including Peter, Robert and a young guy on sawn timber) and a great guy on the order line and everyone was super helpful. At other chains I've had patronising experiences but these staff were not like that, just super helpful and go out of their way to try and help or find another colleague who can.

Good place to grab everything for building and tools reasonably priced. They have a plumbing and electrical building aswell. Can get a bit confusing with all the buildings but someone always helps. Doesn’t always have the same as there website I’ve found out which is ashame.

When delivering George G always went above and beyond. I had several pallets for different parts ov the company so rather than have me manovering a 44t lorry here and there he always unloaded my entire delivery and made sure every pallet got to the right place.. hes now moved on to the driving side of the company. Miss ur helpfulness mr Garrett . The new lady takes her pallets and sends me off on a frustrating multi drop world ov hurt

Total waste of time. Phoned up. Told them what I wanted. They said yeah we have it in stock. Drive from Blackpool to Leyland . To find out they didn't have what they said . Will never try and deal with them again.

Sweetie-shop for tradesmen, though bit of a confusing system for non-trades & DiY-ers. That said if you’re easy engaging with others there are lots of staff and most are very helpful. Better signage of “how to pay”, “where” to pay for your goods woukd be much appreciated. The DIY market is HUGE and i think Berry’s are missing an opportunity here. Better/Simple signage of where to go, where to park, how to acquire goods, how/where to pay etc. Maybe split the checkout area for Trade/Account holders (most people) and DiY/Retail. Having a “take a ticket” number system is great … when you actually know you have to. As a first visitor I queued at checkout then was met by a staff member blank (non helpful) face when he asked “are you number 15?”. A brickie behind let me in to pay, otherwise I would have had to queue up all over again. Fabulous stock. Huge range. Better awareness of your DiY/retail customers needed (in my opinion)

Ordered 9th May and emailed about delivery, got a super fast reply and delivery arranged for 15th May as they only deliver to Liverpool on certain days. Delivery driver really friendly, put everything as far down the drive as he could and placed a piece of wood between the delivery and the brick so not to damage the house. Would really recommend, amazing customer service.
