A fair and honest review. Initially things started well with Christian, quote seemed reasonable and he was helpful explaining our options of new flat roofs and changing vertical tiling. Accepted quote for a warm roof system and grey cladding boards. Explained that rear flat roof was leaking and was promised he'd come and sheet it as he'd be unable to start for a few weeks, this never happened and roof continued to leak. Some weeks later scaffold went up and work began, 2 man team were polite and chatty. Unfortunately made the mistake of telling them driveway would be coming up in couple months time and this seemed to be taken as an invitation to leave literally 100s of large screws and nails on the floor, certainly not ideal with an 18month old running around. When putting in frame work they drilled straight through into daughters bedroom, was told would be sorted... it never was .In general work seems of a good standard and am happy with the quality, however Christian's communication is poor at best and my wife gave up trying to email him as he rarely responded. I then took over and asked him when he would be back to finish the job I was told would take 5 days and had now been dragging on for over 3 weeks . I also explained to him how upon removing old flat roof his employees had decided to simply sweep all the crud down the guttering and side of the house this had now blocked my drains resulting in a foul smell. His response was not one of apology or regret just simply stated he'd be back and would clear guttering. I decided to clear drains with rods myself and disconnect the downpipe to prevent them from doing any further harm. Upon completion Christian came and spent couple hours finishing up and clearing gutters. Then as soon as he'd appeared he was gone.. no would you like to come and view the work and check you're happy, no sign off, not even a thanks for your business or goodbye. Wife inquired on cost of changing over tiles to match new grey cladding, said would send quote over, again never happened. Despite being in attendance himself on final day, facia boards and brickwork still left covered in crud from sweeping years of crap ( on old flat roof) straight off the side off house , have so far spent 5 hours cleaning this , the drains and sorting daughters bedroom. Time i shouldn't of had to lose. Service: Roof repair
