Recent experience has been excellent. Calling at 8am gets you into a queue which may take up to 30 minutes before you get to speak to a receptionist but once through, in the past two occasions, have been seen the same day.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour, sit on hold for 20 mins to get a face to face appointment then get told when you eventually get through to them they only have a a phone appointment. It's not good enough when your watching your better half crumble because she feels like they dont want to help her. Avoid at all costs. And I've been going to this practice since I was a baby and I'm now 32 and it has gone down hill over the last 5 years. Rung 8 am to get a appointment is pathetic to say the least.

Recently moved to the area and had to do the dreaded change of GP. I needn't have worried, Lyn in the admin department was fantastic, she registered our family of 5 by that same afternoon and booked in my daughter for her flu vaccination by the following day. Such a huge difference from the medical centre we were at previously where you could never get an appointment or had to hold on the phone for close to an hour to speak to someone! So happy with BMC.

Absolutely shocking medical centre. I once had to use this place 5-6 years ago for two slipped discs in my back causing sciatica in my right leg and the Dr was just prescribing me pills to help with the pain...which for a person working on building sites isnt a sure fix. It took months of me appealing for the Dr to refer me to a specialist for him to do so.. and eventually received the treatment needed but this was a whole year later. But this isn't why I'm giving them a one star review today. Today I'm giving them a 1 star review because I've just woken up at 8am to make an appointment to see a Dr, waited on the phone for 20 mins to get through and when I did I was immediately hung up on! No words were spoken the phone line just went dead. If you can travel anywhere else for medical advice please do!

If I could give 0 stars I would my partner is 16 weeks pregnant and the new midwife made her do a heart beat scan with her when she shouldn’t be until at least 18-20 weeks was very rude forcing my partner to travel to Oxford by taxi causing her a lot of stress absolutely disgusted by this and will be moving doctors because of this they should shut this place down!

Aweful place and all staff have a terrible attitude. Only way to make a appointment is to ring up at 8am and sit on hold for 30 mins, when you do eventually manage to get threw to speak to someone they will attempt to give you a phone appointment, if you manage to make an appointment, the doctor will make you feel that they are not interested at all by telling you they only have 5 mins so it needs to be quick, if you do manage to explain your problem within 5 mins they will just give you pills for any problem. I have explained to the doctor 3 times that I don't feel my medication is helping and everytime my dosage has been doubled. I have explained to reception staff that I don't feel that I am being listened to and the response to this was that I should speak to citizens advice, my mental health has hugely gone down hill because of the doctors and staff. Avoid at all costs if possible, travel further if you want to see a doctor that actually listens.

The admin staff told me the wrong result of my urine test. It's unacceptable that they told me the wrong result. This misinformation lead to me getting the wrong treatment, worsening my condition. They shouldn't be allowed to tell patients test results. The dispensers are often rude saying unnecessary things to someone desperate for medication and in pain such as "you don't even know if the Doctor will approve your medication" when it had been prescribed by a consultant.

My surgery for 28yrs now. Always feel I can talk to them. I've found they give 100% to help you. If on a rare occasion I'm not happy I've contacted them and it's been resolved. I know it's difficult to see a Dr during covid but we need to keep them protected too.looking forward to the day when the service returns back to normal.
