Martin is an incredible and inspiring carpenter and creative. Today we took part in a guided tutored session and learnt how to carve (whittle), from branch to spoon. It was informative, creative and so empowering. Martin welcomed us with tea, biscuits and warmth. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back. A real hidden treasure in Nottingham.

What a super place, I learnt more about woodwork and tools in the 1st hour than I ever did in 6 years at school many years ago. Martin is a great guy, explains everything in simple terms, it was a pleasure to listen, watch and do. Using real rustic wood and hand tools, not a electric saw, lathe or drill to be seen. Can't wait for the next session.
