What Christmas Market? There where about 10 stalls and two trees with Christmas lights on between the lot of them. There's more Christmas in my downstairs cupboard during Easter than there was here today. Waste of time. Waste of money. Won't be coming here again. Never known boredom like it. (Travelled via Caledonian Travel). Edit To Owners Reply: It was definitely this market and there wasn't 59 stalls there at all. I asked people walking round if this was the correct place and they were all disappointed. Everyone on the coach home was disappointed too. Why would I lie? I was speaking to an old lady on the coach who'd brought her grand-daughter on the trip, as a birthday present for her. They were both sad about the experience. People spent their hard earned money and find out they've being lied to through false advertisement. There are even comments on here indicating how bad it is. It feels like the owner is irritated now that they have being called out.

Went today for the Christmas markets had a fabulous time. We've visited buxton plenty of times though. As expected parking wasn't the easiest, we arrived at 1pm and main car parks where full but we luckily found a sneaky free spot a few streets away. A great range of stalls the food stalls where the best. Expensive but to be expected with Christmas markets. The musical entertainment was great lots of fun. Kids loved the rides, and having stalls in the pavilion was a much needed shelter against the unfortunate drizzly weather. Lovely to see the town so busy and lots of people enjoying the lovely atmosphere.

Buxton has the highest market in Britain being one thousand feet above sea level and sells a range of new and used goods, memorabilia and fresh locally grown produce.

Needs more stalls but the ones that are there are good and prices very reasonable. Stall holders very helpful without being pushy.
